10 Cody Rhodes Vs. Randy Orton

This Is A Long Time In The Making

• They've not faced each other since Rhodes returned to WWE

When Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton were last associated with each other, the American Nightmare was an upcoming talent who the Viper took under his wing. Their time in Legacy was memorable, but few would've expected Rhodes to have become the major name that he is today.

But WWE is now at a point where Rhodes is one of the biggest names in wrestling, while Orton is still at the top of his game. The idea of them coming full circle and engaging in a storyline for WWE's top prize is one fans are chomping at the bit to see.

That's why an encounter between him and John Cena could be huge. Cena's coming toward the end of his time as a wrestler, so tapping into his star power is something WWE will want to do, and few matches would draw more interest than him facing Paul.

They're also considered one of the top teams in the business, so putting them against each other would draw real interest. Even though The Usos faced each other at WWE WrestleMania 40, fans expect them back together at some stage, and doing it for this match would be worthwhile.

However, both are expected back before the year is done, therefore there's plenty of time for WWE to book this one. With personal issues aplenty, this is a match that would have exceptional promos to hype it up, and one that fans want to see.

Liv Morgan's return from injury has been excellently handled, with her revenge tour being a storyline people have gravitated to. From her injuring Rhea Ripley to winning the Women's World Championship and kissing Dominik Mysterio, there's been a lot of interest in what she's doing.

Due to her meddling with The Judgment Day, fans want to see her and Ripley compete against each other. While Mami is currently on the shelf, the moment she returns this is going to be a match the company will book.

3 Gunther Vs. Ilja Dragunov

WWE has leaned into that and kept bringing the two men back together for promo segments which has only increased the anticipation. The moment Punk returns from injury it feels inevitable that this match will take place, and it's going to be a blockbuster for the company.
