This easy and delicious Honey Lime Mayonnaise is the perfect addition to any sandwich or wrap.

It takes no time to mix up a batch of this Honey Lime Mayonnaise. A few simple ingredients are that is needed to make this easy condiment. Whisk together mayonnaise, honey, lime zest, lime juice and a bit of salt and pepper and you’re done! This mayo can be kept refrigerated, covered to have on handfor a variety of dishes, or just to add some extra flavor to a simple sandwich. Or toss with your favorite pasta salad for a change of pace!

Honey Lime Mayonnaise

Yield: 1 1/2 cups

Prep Time: 5 minutes

Total Time: 5 minutes

A simple mayonnaise to add a little something special to an ordinary salad or sandwich.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • zest of 1 lime
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • additional salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Mix all ingredients together until well combined. Salt and pepper to taste.
  2. Refrigerate, covered until ready to use.

    I just made this to complement a seared sesame tuna sandwich. It was amazing!! Sauce was balanced in flavors, fragrant, super-easy to make and used ingredients we all have handy. I am so happy to have found this delicious sauce.

    Substituting chili powder and a dash of cumin instead of pepper turns this into a great salad dressing – just thin a bit with water, and drizzle over greens, chicken, sliced mango, cashews and jicama. YUM.
